When I first subscribed to Spotify, I was unsure as to how to to best organise my playlists. I think the first playlist I had was just all the songs I had listened to ever, but that didn't work out too well. So I guess I decided to start doing monthly lists. I wasn't as dedicated the first two years, but I decided to commit from 2013. Since then, I have made at least one playlist a month filled with all songs I have been listening to within that period. Some months have less songs than others, some songs feature in multiple months across several years. It has been fun to see what songs I keep going back to, which appear in more than one playlist (one of New Spotify's most redeemable features). Whichever platform I end up migrating to, I think I will continue the practice. It might be the longest I've ever committed to anything.
