03/08/2025 plan is to add at least one playlist each time i am online, as the work will only get larger knowing my playlists nowadays average 100 songs, and if i don't have the time to do that, i will add a playlist page instead. adding a playlist page means adding space for all the playlists that will be added to the page, as well as their song number, run time, and the correct number of code lines for each song,in addition to a functioning link to the category page.
03/08/2025 pages that are finalised to a 100 per cent will have all songs and playlists added, with youtube links included for each song. i only write that a playlist page has been finalised if the links have been added, but adding links will not be a priority for the project. if the playlist page has been noted as 'updated', it means a playlist has been added, which we also can see in the updated playlist count included after the update.

06/08/2025 told a coworker i was starting this project and their response was, "i bet there's some way you could do this automatically, or a programme that could do this for you." not really the point, though, is it?
06/08/2025 i also downloaded my spotify data to be able to add the first date i started using spotify on my index page, and the data revealed my first ever song that i listened to on the platform and i am only acknowledging that it ended up being this song as i was thirteen at the time
