After using and loving Spotify for more than 15 years, I have decided to stop paying for premium and deactivate my account. This is mainly due to its CEO's investments in AI weapons manufacturing, but also because the platform has become increasingly more terrible in the recent years. With over three hundered playlists made, including one per month since around 2013, it is with a heavy heart I am unsubscribing to the service and deactivating my account. To remember what I have lost, I wanted to make a website archive to record all my playlists as they have meant a great deal to me over the years. Everything will be archived manually and chronologically, with as much information as I can manage to included without exhausting myself. Once I have recorded every playlist in my collection, I think I'll finally be ready to say goodbye and pull the plug.
